Second paragraph of bio
[edit]The second paragraph contains an incomplete sentence and a number of grammatical and syntactical errors. Since I am not sure of the intent of the original author, nor of VanPatten's teaching philosophy, I am hesitant to change anything, but would suggest that this particular bit of writing be re-done to address both of those issues.
